世界中にロックダウン状態が続く中で、学校も休校になっていたり、子供が給食の味が恋しい、、という話も聞きます。お家で給食を再現しようとする方も多いでしょう、ということを考えて、久しぶりにフィンランドの給食をご紹介しようと思いました。

北欧でミートボールは有名ですが、フィンランドで子供たちに人気のはチキンミートボールの方かもしれません。軽くカレー風味で美味しく食べられて、フィンランドに珍しくじゃがいもと一緒にじゃなく、ご飯と共にいただきます。

お家でもとても簡単にできますので、週末のランチでも試してみてはいかがでしょうか。共にパゼリとミントを混ぜたヨーグルトソースを提供し、大人でも子供でも美味しくいただけます。

カレー風味チキンミートボール（2人分）

鶏ひき肉　200g
ヨーグルト　50g
パン粉　大さじ2
玉ねぎ　25g
卵　1/2個
にんにく　1/2片
カレーパウダー　小さじ1/4
薄口醤油　小さじ1/4
黒こしょう　少々

＜薬く用＞
オリーブオイル　大さじ1
無塩バター　15g

＜飾り用＞
イタリアンパセリ　適量

（下準備）
玉ねぎは皮をむき、根っこを切落しすりおろす。にんにくは皮をむき、芯を取り除きすりおろす。卵を溶いておく。

１）ボウルに鶏ひき肉と他の材料を全部入れ、手で回すようにざっくりと捏ねる。
２）フライパンにオリーブオイルとバターを入れ、弱めの中火にかけ、①を10頭分に分けスプーンでフライパンに乗せ転がしながら火が通るまで5分程度焼く。
３）皿に盛り付け、イタリアンパセリを乗せごはんとサラダ一緒に提供する。

Cities around the world are under lockdown, and schools are closed with many children missing the taste of school lunch. There surely are lots of families trying to make similar taste at home to please the kids – thus I decided to introduce a Finnish school meal as I haven’t done so for a long time.

Meatballs are famous around the world thanks to IKEA, but kids in Finland tend to like chicken meatballs more than the ‘normal’ ones. With a slight curry taste they go perfectly with rice, and by making a yoghurt sauce with parsley and mint in it, it’s possible to make this dish to match the taste of both kids and adults.

Curry Taste Chicken Meatballs (makes 2 portions)

200g Ground Chicken
50g Yoghurt
25g Onion
2 tbs Panko
1/2 Egg
1/2 gloves of Garlic
1/4 tsp Curry Powder
1/4 tsp Light Soy Sauce
A hint of Black Pepper

<For baking>
1 tbs Olive Oil
15g Non-salted Butter

<For decoration>
Some Italian Parsley

1) Peel and mince onion. Peel and grate garlic. Put all the ingredients into a bowl and mix by hand.
2) Put olive oil and butter into a frying pan and heat over medium heat. Make 10 meatballs by scooping ① with spoon, sauté while rotating for about 5 minutes.
3) Put on a plate, sprinkle with some Italian parsley and serve with rice and salad.
